Our Beliefs

We believe that there is one God existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. – Gen 1:1, John 1:1; 2 Cor. 3:17-18; Eph. 4:4-5

We believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God. – Matthew 16:16

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is useful in guiding us in every area of our lives. – 2 Timothy 3:14-16; 2 Peter 1:20-21.

We believe that man was created by God, willfully sinned and as a result, is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. – Romans 3:23; 6:23 and Acts 4:12.

We believe that man is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. – Ephesians 2:8-9.

We believe in order for one to receive this grace a person must hear the gospel, (Rom,10:14) Believe that Jesus is Lord, (John 3:16; Rom 10:9) Repent of one’s sins, (Acts 2:38; Luke 13:3) Confess Jesus is Lord, (Rom 10:9-10; Matt. 10:32) Be baptized by immersion, to wash one’s sins away and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38 and 22:16) Serve Christ daily, (Mark 10:22; Revelation 2:10)

We Believe the Lord’s Supper should be partaken every Sunday like the first century church practiced. – Acts 2:42 and 20:7

We believe that every Christian should give of their time, gifts, and income to the Lord and His Church. – 1 Cor. 16:2; 1 Pet. 4:10.
